Commando Rebranding
For this project, I chose the Burlington based clothing company Commando. I decided to change their products from focusing mainly on bodywear and lingerie to focusing on what we see on the outside. I decided to use photos of models wearing bold, bright, patterned clothing that exhibit a sense of creativity, as well as practicality. The outfits in both ads are classy, stylish and chic. My target audience is women living in an urban environment who need business casual dress wear that they can move around in and still have fun with, adopting a work hard, play hard mentality. The consumer would embrace their authenticity when wearing a daring striped button-down quarter sleeve shirt dress.
I used images from Pexels and manipulated them in Adobe Illustrator to create various ad campaigns. Combining illustration, photography, and typography to create minimalistic, clear ads that focus on scale and color.
