'Ohana Kokua Resort

About the Resort: ‘Ohana KōKua Resort is an experience like no other. For the adventurer in all of us enjoy this sustainable resort experience, located on the North Shore of Kuai, West of Princeville. From your own 1,000 square foot cabin built out of wood, dried pili grass, and glass, you can enjoy a personalized, unique experience as our resort consists of 5 cabins total and one larger main villa where you can check into your room and find out more about the local North Coast area. This larger villa is also where you can sign up for various classes, as it houses the classes. Surrounded by emerald-green mountains, huge waterfalls, white sand beaches and 16 miles of Nā Pali Coast to explore via helicopter or boat, immerse yourself in the nature of Hanalei and the regions surrounding it. Hanalei Bay is perfect for surfing or catching a nap on the beach. The pier in Hanalei is significant to the culture of this town and is used primarily for fishing and community gatherings, like musical events. The pier is also a tourist destination because it was used in the musical “South Pacific”. Our resort offers a carpool service where you can be driven to different parts of the island. However, if you prefer walking and biking, this is also available. Our resort provides one bike for each of the 5 cabins, that you can take out at any point, avoiding the chaos of rental services at establishments outside of the resort.

‘Ohana means family bound by togetherness, and Kōkua means help or support with no intent of personal gain, complete selflessness.
